I cut my finger a week ago Tuesday. And yes, it was NASTY. I sliced the side of my pinky off with a mandolin slicer. My gramma said, well that’s more protein in the potatoes:) EW GROSS:) I couldn’t get it to stop bleeding, and kept almost passing out…and I’m not talking about like a couple of minutes….it was a couple of days. I called everyone I knew for advice, I got on my boards and asked all my online friends what to do. There wasn’t any skin left to sew together on the wound, so I stayed out of the ER, but I was terrified that it would be a long and drawn out process of bandaging and nursing my finger back to health. Well, once I got the bleeding to stop, and the cut to be out from the bandages at night, the process got MUCH faster! I’m glad to say that God has totally taken care of me (once again) and my finger is in nearly perfect condition. The cut healed quickly, and my finger is a little dented, but I’m guessing in another week, you’ll hardly be able to tell anything happened. I’m totally praising God about this, b/c I just had many fears of how this would hinder my regularly scheduled life.

Here’s some cards that are winging their way to Provo as we speak. They will hopefully be in an infomercial with the Cricut that is being filmed next week. When I took these to the Kinko’s to send out, the girl there was interested in what I do, and looked at my cards. She is now planning on buying a Cricut. NOW THAT’s a boost to my confidence.
For the last three months I’ve made things for the infomercial and its been an interesting process. It’s been challenging, but I’ve actually liked several of the things I’ve made a LOT. We were working off a very limited set of Cricut cuts, and although that was limiting, it was also cool to see what I can come up with using this limited selection. What do you think about the pear card? I was going back and forth if I should say “pair” or “pear” wherein lies the pun….Hmmmmmm!
